This year, we had 4 champions who  designed and led different routes for LOVR!​

 

First up, on 18 November 2023, we had Yong Sheng, a 3rd year Business Administration student at SUSS who led a 12km walk at MacRitchie! It was a beautiful day and lovely conversations took place, across generations!

 

On 19 November 2023, Monica, the founder of United World Sanctuary led a small cozy group in a series of practices during a meditative walk at the Botanical Gardens. We were again blessed with good weather and the dampness of the air brought calm and peacefulness to our hearts and minds.

On 26 November 2023, Joanne Soo brought us to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, where we completed a 8km walk! A climbing and abseiling instructor who has led more than 100 expeditions in her adventure pursuits, Joanne and our other campanions shared many stories about Bukit Timah as we walked past various interesting places.

 

Lastly, on 27 November 2023, we had Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Social and Family Development and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Mr. Eric Chua who took us on an invigorating evening run around Marina Bay Sands area. The light drizzle did not stop us! We ended our LOVR 2023 event on a high note and with thankful spirits.
